Blog Quest

Collect blogs and web feeds as you browse

GitLab Build

Blog Quest is a browser extension that helps you collect web feeds (RSS and Atom) as you browse.

Here's how it works:

  • Blogs link to their web feeds using rel="alternate" links
  • Blog Quest quietly collects these feed URLs as you browse
  • Explore what you've found via the drop-down menu

Browse the web as usual. Blog Quest will build a collection of blogs as you go.

Features

Subscribe

The "Subscribe Using" feature allows you to choose how feeds are opened. The default (empty string) will open or download the feed. Presets allow you to quickly integrate using FeedLand, FeedMail, Feedbin, Feedly, Inoreader, and NetNewsWire.

OPML export

Many feed readers support import using the OPML format. If you'd like to import every feed you've discovered, you can use this export feature.

Open source software

Blog Quest is a fork of StreetPass for Mastodon, a browser extension that discovers Mastodon profiles as you browse.

Blog Quest is developed on GitLab under the MIT License. Please visit the repo on GitLab for support.
